I was working the Chrysalis Flight all weekend and heard a wonderful statement from one of the teens on the weekend and what it meant to her. (If you don’t know what a Chrysalis Flight is — go check out this post.) It had such wisdom in it and I was even more impressed it came from someone so young.
“I was so busy living a good Christian life, but I wasn’t living FOR Christ.”
Wow…..for someone so young to discern the difference. It took me much longer to tell the difference. But it was when Jesus moved from my head (living a good Christian life) to my heart (living FOR Christ) that I was set on fire and it all started to make sense. And let me tell you, there is a HUGE difference in the sense of joy and peace you will feel in your heart and soul.
